My name is Paris Franz (yes, really), and I'm a writer, blogger and member of the oddly-named club. No, I still have no idea what my parents were thinking.
This blog is home to two of my passions - London and history. I love travelling, but I always find myself coming back to the Big Smoke. I studied Ancient History and Archaeology here, at the University of London, which put the seal on my obsession, especially the course I did on the Roman city. How could it be otherwise, in a city with a 2,000 year recorded history, and a startling tendency to reinvent itself?
I'm currently dabbling in video, and am pondering podcasting, so expect a variety of posts on London Histories.
